We so badly underestimate small acts of kindness

Today, I went for a walk and ended up at a children’s playground. I saw a little girl who had just learned how to walk.

She was so fascinated by the world around her, wobbling with tiny steps, and her excitement was contagious.

I waved at her, almost on instinct, and she smiled back – just for a half second. But in that moment, something shifted. My worries felt lighter, my heart felt warmer… it was like she had quietly reminded me of hope.

A little wave.
A half-second smile.
A simple act of kindness.

It’s never too small and it can actually quietly save someone’s day.
Because you can never know the battles someone else is fighting!
